This charity provides palliative care for people living with a life-limiting illness in Weston-super-Mare and the surrounding areas. Westernhaven Information and Support Centre

Westerhaven offers a wide range of specialist support services to those affected by cancer and long-term conditions such as COPD and long COVID. This service is for anyone living in West Lothian, and for patients attending the Western General Hospital who are affected by cancer, including family and caregivers. They provide a holistic approach to advice through available benefits and refer to other services available in West Lothian, including; Occupational Therapy, Home Safety Service, travel concessions, money, energy and housing advice. They offer weekly drop in sessions in Bathgate Partnership Centre every Wednesday 10am-12pm. Alice's Escapes

This charity offers bereavement breaks for families who have lost a child. Their bereavement lodge sleeps up to six people. This can be a mix of occupiers; some may wish to keep to an immediate family group and others may bring grand-parents or friends. There is no form required for bereaved parents, however an authorised referral is needed such as an email from a GP or a support charity. The bereavement lodge is open from March through to and including Christmas. Applications are ongoing with no date criteria.
