The Wirral Carers Health and Wellbeing Service provides free support to adult Carers (including Parent Carers and Young Adult Carers in transition), the service focuses on identifying Carers and supporting them to access services to assist them in their caring role and to help them to maintain and improve their health and wellbeing.
Headway Wirral
Headway Wirral provide regular drop in sessions at various locations across Wirral and a weekly social group.
They can also provide support and advice relating to welfare and benefits, legal advice and practical advice around living with a brain injury.
Claire House Hospice
The family support team at Claire House Hospice provide 1:1 counselling, group counselling, music therapy sessions, social events for families and support activities to promote positive psycho-social wellbeing. These services are available for families of seriously and terminally ill children.
Wigan and Leigh Hospice
Wigan and Leigh Hospice offer therapies to patients with specialist palliative needs and to those people close to them.
Patients will be offered a course of 6 treatments and carers will be offered a course of 4 treatments, following an assessment and consultation. The therapies that are offered include: aromatherapy, massage, reflexology, reiki and relaxation therapy.
