Harbour Cancer Support Centre

Harbour Cancer Support provides counselling as well as a specialist counselling service for children who have been affected by cancer as a patient or the child/grandchild of a patient. Complementary therapies such as aromatherapy, reflexology, reiki and Indian head massage are offered, and they also host coffee mornings and art group sessions. Patients can access these free services by dropping into the centre in Gosport.

This service aims to provide specific financial support to families of children who have or have had a brain tumour, with special focus on those who also have post-surgery disabilities. This financial support can include help with the purchase of specialist equipment, with home adaptations, with post-treatment holidays, to assist in cases of financial hardship where parents have lost income due to being unable to work while caring for their sick child, and many other instances.
