Bradford - Brain Tumour Support Group
Yorkshire's Brain Tumour Charity
Yorkshire's Brain Tumour Charity provide a monthly Bradford Support Group which is open to anyone affected by a brain tumour – patients, family members, caregivers, or those who have been bereaved. It offers a safe and welcoming space to share experiences, gain emotional support, and connect with others who truly understand.
Facilitated by Shelley & Neil, the group meets at 6:15 PM at the Harold Club (BD12 OUD) on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.
Attendees say the groups help them feel less isolated, more connected, and better supported. Many also gain valuable practical tips and coping strategies to help manage the challenges that come with a brain tumour diagnosis.
Recent feedback shows the positive impact of these groups:
- 100% of attendees said they felt more supported after attending
- 100% reported feeling less isolated and more connected
- 94% said they had gained practical tips to help manage the diagnosis
❗As these groups are volunteer-led, sometimes exact dates/times may change. Before travelling to any group, please contact YBTC to confirm the details.
